Kevin
Mitnick
will not be going on trial in North Carolina as previously
reported. He has made a deal with federal prosecutors which
involves pleading guilty to one of the 23 counts he had
faced. Under this deal, Kevin would receive no more than
eight
months
of prison time, as opposed to the potential of
115
years if
found guilty. He still could face charges in other states
after this is over.
Recently, Kevin was
transferred to a federal prison in Los Angeles.
